Evidence-Based Psychotherapy for Teens and Adults

About

Welcome

People come to therapy for many different reasons at various times during their lives. Whether you are taking your first steps in seeking therapy or have received mental health treatment, reaching out to a new Provider can be difficult or anxiety-provoking. Connecting with the right
clinician is both relieving and rewarding.

Wherever you are in your journey, and however you are feeling, we are privileged to support you at this important part of your life. Rockville Psychological Services provides evidence-based psychotherapy for teens and adults, ages 13 years-old and older. Our goal is to provide you with the highest level of care and tailor therapy to meet your individual needs. Also, we are authorized to provide telehealth in over 30 other states.

Individual Therapy

We specialize in psychotherapy with individuals (13 years-old and up) for depression, anxiety, women’s issues, reproductive challenges (infertility, pregnancy loss, and pre and post-partum issues), adjustment issues/life transitions, relationship issues/conflicts, anger management, grief, LGBTQIA+, and trauma.

We collaborate with you using evidence-based treatments to gain insights into your behavior, decrease symptoms, and empower change in order to achieve more fulfilling relationships, increase self-understanding, and improve overall quality of life.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can be another avenue of treatment that can yield additional benefits. Some groups may have a pre-determined number of sessions whereas others may run on an open-ended basis. All groups require an initial individual meeting with the group leader.

*Additional information regarding group offerings will be forthcoming.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is offered to help families navigate through difficult challenges, problem-solve and improve conflict-resolution skills between family members. Family therapy can involve parent(s) and teen/adult, the whole family, or just siblings.
